Sleeping at truck stops

Truck stops smell urine and are extremely noisy.
Not for humans for sure.

 

How do truck stops smell urine? They don't even have noses!

 

I was forced to sleep only for a night in truck stop and I was horrified by the smell and the noise.It was sad to see that even trucks made on 2021 were idling,no APU or other solutions to shut the engines.Its very primitive way of life and backward technologically.

I do speak 8 languages and English is the worst for me and the hardest.

 

Horrified, you say? Let me get this straight...smell and noise.... horrified you. Am I understanding that correctly? In fact, the experience traumatized you so much that you had to create an account on a trucker's forum so you could Necro a five year old thread, just to let us know we aren't humans.

I'm asking purely for scientific reasons.

If you agree with it nothing will change for better.I am not criticizing you ,I am telling you what I have noticed from my experience.
Truck stops must change and must be much more comfortable for the drivers.
I was horrified for sure.
Also the food those junk truck stops offered for the drivers was extremely not healthy and it was junk food.
It's an insult for a human to offer such low quality food.

they really ain’t that bad reefers, cattle carts etc but then there is the devil……..,

a chicken or pig hauler that has a few dead ones left in it….in the texas summer with the flies…….
I’ll nope tf out of there like the roadrunner.

 

I run a carrier reefer with an aftermarket glass pack muffler & I prefer to run it on start stop mode to save fuel.
