That’s good news for me because I was looking at the price of all four and the leveler and I was like “it’s going to be a minute before I get those”.I had a pair of step deck ramps with pin on ends for my hotshot trailer so that I could load backhoes but ended up selling them a year ago.Should have kept them.

    Updated list
    10-3/8 chains & binders
    20-4” straps
    6-2” ratchet straps
    2-winch bars
    40-edge protectors
    20-metal edge protectors
I’m going to hold off on the tarps at first and see how many loads I’m losing and if they are even worth getting.
    6 or 8 4x4’s.What do y’all think?

I carry ten. Some people think the shipper should supply it, but some shippers would also tell you to #### off, so I carry them. Same reason as tarps, or having a gun. "Rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it."

Brokers are so desperate for trucks you can tell them you were interested in the load until you found out tarps were involved, but now the money isn't right, and you have to pass. They ask how much more? Well honestly, I just don't feel like tarping today. Probably take $500 per tarp to get me interested. They'll start negotiating more money too. I've only ever had one person literally tell me I was insane because I wanted a thousand bucks to haul a precast piece of concrete a hundred miles. Guy was frustrated, lol. But if his ear was to the ground, he'd know that's not a crazy rate in the NE.

So anyways, I carry lots of dunnage and tarps...but that doesn't mean I have to use them. You just never know.

What style chain binders, Lever or ratchet?
Up your 2 inch to 8 or 10.
On the winch bar, get one long bar with the box end, the other just plain.
