When I repaired Truck tires 40 yrs ago. Best one I ever saw was a Truck tire valve stem, thorough a tire. Just seemed Ironic. Lol. First time my Dad let me drive his Beautiful Chrysler Córdoba. I went 3 blocks to the local hangout. Friend noticed a fingernail clipper sticking out of the sidewall . WTF? Dads brand new General top of the line tire. He made me buy Him a new one. Never drove his car again.

I was disappointed to see that. For some reason, I thought they’d eliminate the cans, maybe even the need for slacks and adjustment. Looking forward to next trailer having them. Maybe upgrade my Truck? Never happen!! Would be nice though. These anti lock brakes, even when standing on them, have often barely stopped in time, when needed. I still prefer the old style. Even in winter. They stopped better. Plain and simple. ABS are the answer to idiots who slam on there brakes in slick weather.

My tire dilemmas are over for now. Bought a used drive for $100. Went to T/A got another very nice used Bridgestone steer for $209. Total bill $300. Got 2 tires mounted and grease T/T. I think they undercharged me. Tire w/ install, tax alone would be $285. Guy was going to weld my landing gear for 1/2 hr. Fee. Shield was broken. Lol. Stopped in Ohio. Guys Welder was broken. Waiting till I get home. Won’t be dropping it anyway.
