Hey everyone ac here driving me crazy. I'm not getting any power to my compressor. Had to wire one straight to a switch to get through the hot summer days but of course it burned out. Now I'm trying to set it up right to see if I can get through the last couple hot days left. No luck over here in NJ trying to find someone to work on it either.
So here's the deal, I get no power to my compressor. Was told to check low pressure switch.. also not getting any power. I switched all switches out. Still nothing. Was told if no power at low pressure switch to check thermostat in the core. This fixed my issue in my KW but I'm told Pete's are different that the actuator is the "thermostat". Changed this today and im getting power to 2 white cables and the 3rd black cable nothing. Moved over to the controls and on the ac on/off switch I noticed I'm getting a live positive in 1 wire other 4 nothing. Turn switch to on position and all cables to dead. Am I looking at a bad switch?

its the diode in the ac clutch harness. run hot wire from a good power source to ac clutch. if clutch doesnt engage then the diode burned out.
