Why is it always "my wife had to go for cancer treatment or my mother in law fell down the steps"?
BS is BS. I had a driver who said his MIL was in the hospital and he needed the day off.
I said, "what room is she in? We'll send her flowers. "
No reply.
Furthermore, are you a doctor?
What can being off for the day improve the situation?

It's obvious to me that the prospective driver with 4 years experience and a clean MVR was in the right.
How dare CRST recruiters demand that he should have to sit and wait for a DOT drug screen.
Then the recruiter actually had the nerve to text a married man on HIS own time to try to find out if other arrangements could be made quickly to accommodate him.
The world is just full of employers who think they can make demands on employees by paying them and It's really unfair.
Better off not working at all. There's plenty of taxpayer funded government programs out there that we can all feed off of...Opus, homeskillet, alds and 4 others Thank this. -

Just smoke weed when you retire from Trucking I guess. Or not. There are a lot of people smoking weed and more each day. I am sure its in the trucking as well. You can drink, eat, smoke it, make dinner with it, bake some cookies, we all know that, right? Why use it at all. Especially when you can lose your job. I guess weed becomes bigger than a person making a living at some point. It will all come out in the end. How do you regulate something that stays in your body for 30 days or more? I mean in the trucking industry? If you smoke pot and you are tested within 30 days, unless you smoke such a small amount you really don't need to smoke it anyways, you are DONE. Trucking is only part of the Industries that fire you for a dirty UA. Airlines, Railroads, Boats, Ships, any and all of those. Its on your record forever. All I am saying is if you smoke weed, eat, drink, snort, I guess, you are going have problems. That's all. Plus, if you are buying street pot you are causing even more problems for you country. Building stronger street gangs, corrupt politicans, etc.
