I’m ignorant of the chicken world because I’ve never been around it. But Bryan’s post about greed got me thinking.

It will be interesting to see how the other cattle packers handle the situation. I can see Cargill, JBS, and National Beef sitting back and waiting to see how it plays out for Tyson. If Tyson ends up with a labor shortage because of this I doubt the others will follow suit. Keep in mind a majority of their labor force is already skeptical of the government.

Majority of Tyson's labor is from Mexico and Guatemala, what do you think they are going to do?

I already know. My brother unloaded fats in Holcomb last Friday and one guy said people are already talking about walking out.

One thing is for sure, the workers have alot of leverage if they could band together. Kinda like if our fellow truck drivers would band together.

Tyson has a plants around here and while there are Mexicans working there there are a lot of white and black people too. And they are already hard up for people. Have radio ads on everyday trying to recruit some new hires. $15-$16 an hr to start which isn't that bad for around here but few takers.

Most of Tyson's labor force is not local, at least in Northwest Arkansas. They live here now. The shots are free. I think they will keep on working. Given the flack Tyson got last year. I don't think they had any choice, but to take the shots, you can't run a plant and have the social distance ing. . Many family members have worked for Tyson's. And many have retired from there.

wasnt Klinger talking about a section 8? Maybe that’s… NVM guys will unintentionally get castrated now on our dime.

I talked about this earlier this year.

wait till the FMCSA forces brokers to have your Vaccination cards on file. Let’s see what happens then.

As I said, I’m ignorant of the chicken side. I am speaking of the beef plants in NE and KS.

The NFL is going to be singing a new tune this year, I would have to guess those owners are going to be seeing less green than in previous years. I hope they don't play a single game. They've lost me as a fan along with a couple other woke sports leagues.
