Well last I checked I'm allowed to decide whether something makes sense to me or not.
But then again with all the things happening in our country may be I'm not allowed to have my own opinion anymore.
But if your point is: "why does somebody else's decisions have to make sense to you?"...
Then I guess you are never going to post in the political section again???
I mean, according to your own logic....
Why? Just... Why???

I should post a picture of every basic Cascadia or Volvo I see on here and just ask why, unfortunately I have better #### to do, like drink.T.Rucker, God prefers Diesels, Badmon and 8 others Thank this. -
A friend of mine stretched his W9 from 260” to 307” ran it all over the country draggin dry van/reefer. He said yeah it was a little more work sometimes to get into some places but it went everywhere he wanted and the smoother ride was well worth it.
T.Rucker, Roberts450, D.Tibbitt and 3 others Thank this. -
This is the best response of all.
I'm sure some of you with your girdles too tight are going to keep nitpicking with this but for me that really answers the question that I asked.
Much appreciated.
Everyone be safe and enjoy what you enjoy. -
So @Dino soar whats the specs of a practical, functional, maneuverable truck?
Tug Toy, TripleSix, Roberts450 and 1 other person Thank this. -

I think the specs are up to the individual. But if you are in the Northeast, the more maneuverable the better. I have been to places where only day cabs should be permitted to go.
And don't forget if there's a place where you don't have enough room because you have a giant truck, if you back up and pull up over and over again and if you sit in one spot and you turn your wheel and you back up a few inches and sit in one spot and turn your wheel and pull up and go back and forth, that is very hard on your front end and it's very hard on your clutch.
That's the kind of a thing that my mind thinks about. Function. -
Dudes… lolol, y’all crack me up.
I think another way to look at it @Dino soar is imagine someone you know has driven whatever shat truck a company could throw at him for years. Mile after mile of driving a plain old cascadia/Columbia/whatever. 1 million, 2 million miles, solo, team, coast to coast until their eyes are bleeding.
They’ve saved their money and made the right decisions and bought a truck, became an owner operator and did everything right for a couple years, found a niche they fit in and decided it was time to upgrade… they aren’t ever going to set their azzzz in a cookie cutter truck ever again. So they buy that Pete they have been wanting. Do some upgrades and enjoy driving again. Boom, that is enough reason to not ask why. Again, a lot of bull haulers and open deck people don’t give two shats about parking at a dock. When they encounter one they just say hey… I’m a flatbedder I can’t back lolol. Although this 2 million mile guy can probably get his junk wherever he needs it to go. Same goes for mechanics and Snap on, Mac, Matco tools. A craftsman will get the job done but when you use it day after day after day they don’t hold up, buy once cry once. How many people you know buy a truck and the. Are already wanting a Pete or KW or what have you.
I ain’t arguing. You and anyone else can think whatever is good or bad… one dude wants a Classic Vespa scooter, another wants a Harley and the next wants a Hayabusa…. I keep thinking Indians are cool… We can learn a little bit about life from all of them if we listen and watch.Geronimo17, God prefers Diesels, Dino soar and 6 others Thank this. -
God prefers Diesels, TripleSix, jason6541 and 4 others Thank this.
