I guess I’m starting to turn into a bit of a gear head now that I’m highly interested and having fun so I don’t mind in a way, but I agree

I can’t even remember what’s all been done to it? Didn’t it have a CAT in it? Or a big motor, at least? 18 SPD?

My first problem was within 6 months. Condenser fan went out, just a few hundred hours, $1200 to repair. Then it blew a coolant hose the next year, I was able to fix that myself, a few gallons of coolant and new hoses I got from auto zone. About 4 years in the alternator went, $580 for their 65A alternator and a few hrs of my time but I did get to meet @wore out and Doc that day. Then there was the A/C hoses that rubbed through from it's own vibration, which caused around $800 in repairs. Then there was the fuse on top that burnt up, I don't remember when, was around $300 for new wiring and fuse.

    $12000 for the APU
$100 every 6 months for routine maintenance.
Top of my head, around $4000 in repairs over 6 years, almost 14k hrs on it now.

That's around $17000 total for purchase and keeping it running. How many generators would that buy?

I can't dm you for one reason or another.

I'd look for a new car if I were you as soon as possible. Cut your losses on that thing for sure.

No, no big engine. It's got an MX13 in it, but does have an 18 speed w/ PTO and wet kit.

Everything I've had done or done myself has been mostly maintenance items. Truck had sat for a bit before I bought it so I had the sensors in the SCR system cleaned up, had the brakes replaced, a couple of wheel seals... had a small scare with some metal in the oil pan/filter which turned out to just be from the air compressor so had that done. Lets see.. U-joints in the steering shaft, A/C system recharge, a proportioning valve, shock absorbers, some wiring shenanigans, and some lights.

To do list: need to take a look at the fuel level sending unit because it only reads 3/4 when full (low priority), need to re-wire the connections for the differential temperature gauges/sensors, replace the fridge, install my inverter and solar charging set up, replace one of the windows on the sleeper because it's got a nice crack in it..... list goes on and on.

It's a bit of a project which is fine with me because I bought it as such.

Fix it, work it, fix it more, work it....
