Thanks, that makes sense. So id only need one credit card to fund all my drivers. If i got one of those cash back ones that could really add up! Ive been spending around 40k per month on fuel lately. To get another 1.5% or something on top of equal discounts to Fleet One would be pretty sweet.

Am I thinking about this right? That it could be done?

 

You click on the truck stop. Click on "get fuel code". Then it shows your payment method, and says "swipe for fuel code". Do that, and a code pops up. Show it to the cashier, and they grab a tablet. The code actually pops up on the tablet, and they turn on the pump. Then you go back in and get a receipt. Sounds complicated, but it's frickin really smooth. Takes just a few seconds.

I was nervous at first, but everywhere I've been, they know exactly how to work it.

With FleetOne, I had no ####, 50% of the time they would have me swipe instead of using the special computer, even though I told them it would get declined. Then they wouldn't know how to work the kiosk. Two people I had to walk through the process. I was always nervous they wouldn't figure it out. Really irritating. And really fun when the line starts building up behind you.

I think it can be done. And the cool thing is, it's free. Have your most trusted hand try it. Then add another one and another one and see if it works for you maybe. If it doesn't, just unlink the accounts, and you're not out anything.

And one more thing, their customer service is immediate.

This is why I haven’t used mudflap even though I’ve had it for over a year.

 

Yeah, WEX beat this one too. But Mudflap was winning so consistently that I didn't check until it was over. But with the credit card cash back, they're neck and neck here.
