I wish. Then I wouldn’t have felt like a turd. It was flat ground around a bend before a monster hill. Car coming opposite direction at night. I will call it a 1.25 lane road.

My future in laws live off of 33 near 79……the tame part lol. I once took a detour the way you posted coming back from the beach in personal vehicle. It was exhausting lol.

Glad your ok. I wouldn’t beat myself up on what you may have done wrong. I had a similar situation on a dirt road in Honduras. Been up and down the road dozens of times. Military off road M900 series tractor with a fuel trailer. Fuertes Caminios 89. Road building project through Honduras with the Army. Anyways, coming down hill with 1/3 full 5000 gallon diesel tanker and fuel sloshed to one side enough to make trailer start to slide on wet/loose “road” surface and into the ditch she went, didn’t go over as landing gear dug in and tractor was heavy in relation to the trailer but had to get winched out. Three hundred foot drop had gear not caught. You’ll be fine and I kinda wish a loose rock had dropped on the jerk DOT cop. Not enough to kill him mind you, just big enough to knock him out for a few hours and educate him in the ways of Karma.

The trailer looks done for though, it got twisted nearly upside down......it looks like a twisty tie on a loaf of bread.....

Splitting the tracks helps too. Especially if the road is out-sloped.
