engine locked up

    hi everybody i took my truck westerstar 2016 to do oilchange after they finsh the truck wont started they tried everything if they spry fleud start for few sec and stop they told my is fuelpump we replace it still nothing they said commend rail we replace it still nothing after 5days at the shop they said they we will tow it to anthor shop to see whats wrong the 2nd shop drop oil pan opned ther breaning and the fuel injactor after one week at the 2dn shop they call me abd said my engine locked up i need new one if anyone can give me an advice what i should do i will be thankfull

    Did they forget to turn the fuel shut off valve back on, after changing fuel filters?

    If it spins over with the starter, its not locked up. If it was running for a few seconds on ether right after it was serviced I would suspect they did not bleed the air out correctly. Fuel lubricates the pump and injectors. If you've got a DD engine they have to pressure bleed the fuel system to get the air out.

    Ether is a HUGE no-no when starting an engine if used incorrectly (like in your case)!!!! Spray too much and it can start cracking rings. Any shop that wants to feed it the Cosby Sauce in an attempt to bleed the fuel system should be avoided IMO.

    at the 2nd shop engine locked up wont turn or anything i want to know if i hire a lawyr i can get them or not

    Only way you could really have a leg to stand on in court is if you can get a detailed report on the failure and root cause. Did the 1st shop lock up the engine? If so, have the 2nd shop its currently at document EVERYTHING. Detailed service reports, pictures, ECM printout. Absolutely everything you can possibly get. You will need to prove that the 1st shop was negligent.

    i have a raport from 2nd shop that truck towed to theme not starting and they checked they find out that is locked up i took to 3rd shop he gave me a report that engine is locked up

    Document everything. Tell the shop that will fix it to write up detailed reports, failure analysis, pictures, everything.
