Trying to get a load to Las Vegas, father in law is an extrucker and has been wanting to see our new truck. He was in the hospital last time we went through LV, Can't find anything going that way. That is the problem with my system, never have gotten a load from a broker or a load board. Just from people I know and my two directs. So pops might have to wait till next time.

Cat locked in abandoned house for two months SURVIVES

A Dutch cat has managed to survive for nearly two months locked in an abandoned house. The extremely malnourished animal, who had to resort to eating paper, was discovered by the new owners of the property.

Ive actually got ideas floatimg around my brain for buildimg a processor... Then all I would have to do it cut tree lengths into 7 to 10 foot sectioms I can roll onto the feed deck... The rest, aside from stacking, would all be hydraulic. Somethimg similar to this...

That would be cool, looks like bigger commercial plant I saw in my travels. After splitting firewood with a maul ,wedge and axe, it looked really interesting

Do it if you like taking 10 minute naps, then pulling forward 1 trucklength, then a 10 minute nap, repeat, etc. for 3 hours until its your turn to dump. Then when yer unloaded, RUN LIKE HECK FER THE NEXT LOAD, and repeat.

Or loading/unloading in the rain, and it doesn't want to come out. Or trying to get the tarp open to load, but theres 1/2" of ice on it. Or, the loader mounds product up 2' taller than your bows, so you gotta go up and level it enough to get the tarp over it. Watch out constantly fer DOT, because yer normally overweight somewhere. Meanwhile, the customer thinks he's getting ripped off by your bargain basement rates.

    :)

My parting words of wisdom for the night?
If you like Powerade? Stop. It is one of the 200 flavors that Coca-Cola felt no one wants to drink anymore.
Personally I think some one should go to them and get the licensing and create it privately. Or label the company as a monopoly for buying up small companies just to turn off the taps on what that company made.

    Sigh, end of rant,

    Good night all

I know you like the idea of the land down under, but that is NOT how you get there.
