Yes but ignore that. The food service company i started with ran 48s and 230wb tractors. Never got cited for that but we always got parking tickets on 6th and 48th every day like clockwork Lol

Thank you all for the replies.
I’d like to time it so I can be at consignee at 5am. 6 latest. The advise on time rang a bell with me.
I asked the owner of my company for advise. He’s on it. Has tons of experience. Has delivered to Long Island.
I got plenty of time to work with.

You know I used to go out that way every day many years ago and I don't ever plan on returning.

But plan your exit out of their well because the traffic coming out of that place rivals anything you've ever seen in your lifetime.

And on top of that all of the drivers are Evel Knievel. Not to scare you but you have to be very defensive and even aggressive to be defensive often when you drive through New York.

And watch out on the BQE. Every single solitary time that I went through there at like 2 in the morning there is always some Chinese guy with a beat-up Ford van with the wheels wobbling delivering fish doing 25 miles an hour.

    Every time.

I live in Long Island. Everything that everyone has said so far is true. I hate this place and love it at the same time.

Stay on I-80 in NJ. Go thru GWB into NY. Take Throgsneck Bridge (295) to 495. Take 495 East all the way to highway 135 South, than Highway 24 east to 109 south. You can get to your destination from 109 or Sunrise Highway. If you need more insight or directions to your delivery address let me know.

    WesternPlains and bzinger Thank this.
