You are right about those others, but I live 2.5 hours from kc.. so that's the contributing reason why I narrowed it down

only layoffs I have heard of in our history has been during 08 and furloughs last year for 6 weeks then part of another 6 week cycle before we had to call everyone back.LtlAnonymous Thanks this. -

Dayton, I'm rather high on in general. Well-run, I believe guys are home daily, and good pay with weekends off.
...but you live 2.5 hours out of town, so home daily may not work for you.
Me personally? For your situation? I'd try to get 10, MAYBE 15 years into the union with great insurance, which would mean ABF most likely. But that's me. I'm pension-minded. -

@chiefsfan66 Theres nothing wrong with taking that YRC job or trying out Fx Ground if that’s what you really want to do. But honestly I’m kind of surprised you can’t find anything closer to home. I’ve been trying to think of what area is that far from KC without any other closer options, and I’m coming up with nothing.
