What if it Snows?

Tomorrow We leave for Miami. The Keith Whitley song Miami, My Amy is running through my head already. Never cared much for that song. Trying to change my channel, it’s no use.

 

I remember when you could go to taco smell and get all you could eat for 2,bucks.

 

1400 hrs, mandatory evac for all of South Lake Tahoe to NV state line. Fire has breeched the summit and is burning down slope into Christmas Valley. As predicted winds are increasing pushing the head of the burn to the east.

 

My nomination for Trucker Of The Year.

 

That is th NV side....The casinos should be safe....trees not a threat surrounded by concrete and asphalt...even the golf course (Edgewood) should come through with minor damage due to distance between and fuel availability. If the fire reaches the lower valley, most all homes are wood frame and mobile in construction, not saveable due to fuel sources and proximity to structures.

 

I was there...sitting in an ambulance in the Sahara Tahoe valet parking entrance.....BORING!

 

I got run over in Reno, bombed in Tahoe and burned in Vegas.
