Years ago, while running through Florida, I heard that from a couple bullhaulers. I think they said Florida had more Cattle than Texas.

Many years ago there was an article in Western Horseman Magazine (magazines are old school paper versions of blogs... Lol) about the Church ranch down there... And I believe it stated something close to that as well.

Yeah this 579 , feels like driving a car. I had to call my buddy to figure out where all the gauges were at , since he had this truck a couple weeks ago. They are all on a computer screen. Only 1 button to press(jakes) and no gauges on the dash. I almost dont even know what to look at or do going down the road. I guess im just a steering wheel holder now.

I drive my Volvo in manual 99.9% of the time... But at least it's shifter is where a shifter is supposed to be... To the right of the driver, NOT on the steering column. Aside from not having to clutch it you wouldnt be able to tell it was an auto if you were riding with me. It took along time for me to get good at making it drive the way I want it to drive... But I guarantee that if you were outside watching and listening you couldnt tell I was driving an auto... Until I have to back it up that is.

This one , you just press a button on the console by the cupholders. I cant tell you how many times i went to shake the stick to check neutral, or reach for the clutch coming to a stop, or rev up to downshift , then immediatly f'd up whatever the auto tranny was trying to do. Oh well guess i will have to get used to it. My trucks gonna be in the shop for couple months

I rented a Freightliner from Penske once. In 08. Ran my Load from Knoxville to Biloxi, and another back. Aerodynamic automatic. I couldn’t stand any part of it. It was awful.
