Company needs a rep of you come here to work, you do it, we pay, all is good. You need something, ask, we provide or explain why not. You understand our position and we understand yours. Superior's work and attitudes get superior benefits in return.
One of the weirdest questions I was ever asked by an owner; in conversation about applying was: "You think you're tough enough to work for us?"

That is very strange. The culture I was brought up in the Army was that as a leader, you bend over backwards to make sure your people have what they need. And if you can't get it for them, or their requests are unreasonable, explain very clearly why with logic and reason, without breaking anyone down. I believe this carries very simply over to how a company should be run and I'm not sure how other companies can be successful running things otherwise.

Their parking is certainly plentiful in terms of the number of stores that they have and they are the fastest growing chain truck stop and have been for years. As of now they have less stores than Flying J/Pilot and TA/Petro but that's when you combine Flying J + Pilot and combine TA + Petro. At least if a quick google search is correct.

All other truck stops are adding maybe 5 stops per year at the most nationwide. Love's shows no signs of slowing down and pretty soon they will have more stops than Flying J + Pilot COMBINED and more stops than TA + Petro COMBINED.

Also, not sure how often you visit Love's, but you should definitely check them out. The Love's in Hampshire, IL outside of Chicago has about 200 spots. In Madison, GA on I-20 an hour outside downtown Atlanta they have about 100 spots.

And the crazy thing is they haven't even scratched the surface with the Northeast yet. Just wait until they start actually expanding in that region (which will be MUCH needed).

Ok so you're talking about all the stores collectively. I understand now. I was thinking more of each store individually. Some have decent sized lots but each one is good for about 80 to 100 spots for the most part. They are growing fast, and they will eventually catch PFJ. I'll concede this too. if you have to back between 2 trucks, it's not nearly as hard at Love's, unless you're at Sheperdsville, KY location lol

Or if you don't get to attend maybe a gift card or you can turn in a receipt from a restaurant of your choosing for a decent dinner (since you missed the party). $50 value? I think that is a fair compromise, other than a big Christmas party or something, it may be difficult to get everyone in the yard at the same time.

I'm a Love's fan too! Once I tried them I never looked back. To be fair I've never worked for a company that fueled at TA/Petro so do not have too much experience with them. I have heard their showers are nice as well.

Who do you work for (or have you worked for) that fuels at Love's if you don't mind my asking (or did I ask you this already before lol)?
