Word is a shipment of sensors has arrived at distribution. The alotment will be split between Pete and KW. Fleets with trucks down first, then to dealers with trucks down next. Hopefully should be hitting dealers after the Holiday. Some relief on the horizon.

I understand that GM is shutting down all production at this time due to chip issues. One wonders if Chinese auto manufacturers are having the same issues???

I vote for an emergency injunction by both parties allowing for the production of Cat 3406 engines in any new build truck!!!

Have you ever been driving along and start getting all these signs that it’s a good time to take a vacation? The upside is hopefully the software update is only a week away.

This is the first time I’ve seen the light with the wrench come on since I’ve had this truck so I can’t complain.

And in case anyone is curious I drove it a little over 3 hours to get to a shop and it didn’t derate. Sitting at Peterbilt now with it idling until they can hook up and confirm it’s the def level/def quality sensor. They said whatever you do don’t shut the truck down because it probably won’t start back up since it thinks it’s out of def.
