My buddy is thinking about selling his 07' Wilson with sloped ends and he called the Wilson dealer and he said bring it down I will have it sold with in a week, can't keep trailers on the lot.
You guys were talking about weight. My company runs some hoppers and they will only put light weight trucks on the hopper division, your truck must weight 17,500 or lighter with a half tank of fuel. My big Pete is heavy. They have all late model Timpte trailers not for sure what they weigh but they want you to haul 52,000 all the time. The bust I could do is maybe 49,000.

You watch those roads in IA. The 4 wheelers over there don't seem to know when to stay home, and the steering wheel holders can't keep their butts out of the ditches. I80 and I35 are both usually a bone yard during storms like the one that is hitting now. Stay safe, my friend.RAG Thanks this. -
stil snowing,wheathauler?

Actually it hasn't done much of anything here yet. Just some snow flurries, to the east of us it looks worse. The wind is the biggest problem right now....it is just howling.
Glad elevators are closed today. This would be a bear of a day to be working in...dang elevators are like wind tunnels around here. -
makes it tuff rolling tarps in that kind of wind,i've talked to otr guys that come from your area in the winter and they say its not uncommon to have the wind jerk the tarp out of their hands,do you ever have that problem? i'm going to miss o'l kansas, maybe he will get a good bordercollie pup for Christmas

Bringing up the EWG list is like playing with fire! It's our tax dollars, I think we have a right to know those things, but boy, when that first came out, there were some very cranky people around these parts if that subject was brought up. We could debate for months about whether the government's approach is right or wrong, all I will say is I wish there was some way to do a better job of supporting the economy of our rural communities in general. Too many small towns are dying. That's probably a whole 'nuther can of worms, I'll just stop now.
Been raining on and off here the last couple days, Santa better have some mud tires on his sleigh this year.dairyman Thanks this. -
