A guy there has had four accidents, one a rollover and still works there. They do have you agree to pay their $2,500 deductible if the accident is your fault. Not unreasonable considering that they don't fire you. They also have driver facing cameras. So not a perfect company but if you need a chance or want to get time in doing fedex it is a good start. And with guys with issues asking for help finding a company I figured I'd pass this one along.
We will find out Monday if we have a job with another company or not doing Refer. My wife got shook up doing light doubles on 80. Wind was tossing them around. This new company said they would dispatch me like a solo driver but put her on their insurance so she could drive too. We talked about doing this for awhile so she can get comfortable driving. Then do teams if she is up to it. Less money for now but if it helps her to drive it'll be worth it in the long run.Chinatown Thanks this. -
Update: So still with company grossing about $1450-$1550 a week. Looks like I’ll be making $75K-82K this year on top of performance bonus and Christmas bonus.
I drive a sleeper and only swap with one driver. We’re both very clean and keep truck maintained. Weekends off and work about 11 hours a day. I make less than most carriers but I enjoy the same routes and off weekends plus home daily.Attached Files:
