It's kind of sucky to lose all that parking, but expansion of 22/78 has become totally necessary in recent years. There's more movement there than it's ever been. When I leave home, and headed in the direction of Birmingham, it's easier to take 40 east and jump on 269 to get to 78.

It’s not just the parking, with the closure the closest Pilot Flying J we can refuel at now is in West Memphis-not good. And then there’s the one in Olive Branch,MS-which means you have to contend with the MDOT scalehouse on 78 (Mineral Wells)if it’s open.Of course the parking at Loves sucksabagofd****!!

That is going to be a bit of inconvenience for real, you'll have that New Albany option and hour down the road, but after that, its hopeless til Birmingham!!!

Was a Williams. And was a better stop then, though the location could sure be better.

was a mapco, then torn down, and a new Williams went up, then Pilot came along. I'm talking mid 90's.
