Very worst case....you can take someone to small claims court for under 100 bucks with no attorney. you can only sue for low amounts, here in ohio it's $5000.00, but that's better then a hot stick in the eye if you cant afford an attorney

You own the tractor? I'd put a lein on their trailer for the total amount due. No pay, no trailer.

Mechanics do it all the time, why can't we?

You can also do it for personal debits
It's very easy, just have to go to the local court house

It was a Ryder trialer which I returned yeterday and now they are avoideing my calls. I spoofed the caller ID to fake a number and guess what he answered... I am sitting down with an attorney tomorrow.

they have voilated leasing laws so I am going to report them, just need to figure out how.

OOIDA loves to go after people that violate leasing rules, member or not give them a call.

You could take them to small claims court on each load suing on one load at a time to keep the amount under the court limit, after the first 2 or 3 case they may just pay you up.

Good Luck Sadly I think you will only end up with a judgement but that is a definite start

I expect that you will be awarded the full settlement, but you better lien their personal property, ie real estate, personal vehicles, bank accounts (which can be frozen by court order). Go after everything....

Contact CH Robinson and let them know you were scammed. Maybe they will pay you directly.
