A long time ago I was picking up empty trailers going from Wall Pa (a ramp for the rail road) and taking them to Woodland Pa. Wal-mart dc. Worked for Jb Hunt at the time. Older driver was running with me back and forth from dc to Wall. All of A sudden he blocks me in while dropping my trailer at the Dc. Gets out of truck an gives me a good dress down...telling me that I am only half a driver. Told him I can run harder and faster than you. He agreed. Said look at how crooked your trailer is when you dropped it. I said so????. He said you will never be a pro at driving until you perfect everything. He would not let me drop that empty until it was perfect in between the lines. I hated his guts!!! Almost 3 million miles later I can still here him slamming my driving ..my backing...everything. Almost 3 million safe miles because of him. We worked at Jb Hunt at the time. He had 2 million at Hunt and 1 million at Greyhound when I met him.

I haven't been following any of the responses because there's such silliness on here but I will continue to report my conditions.

The last place that I picked up was kind of tight. The guy with the big giant jacked out truck probably could have got in there with some serious maneuvering but it would have been tight for him. If he got there on a day it was busy he probably would not have been able to get in.

The place before that there was quite a bit of room there, although I must say the guy that backed in next to me got out of his truck and Polished his belt buckle, and I will tell you he used every inch of that space to back in.

Then again everyone knows that the Petro built is the absolute worst maneuvering truck ever made by mankind, so he wasn't even stretched out and he needed all that room.

Oh well, he seemed to enjoy having the belt buckle anyway.

“I don’t read the responses” yeah right. Lol. Every place this guy goes must be the smallest place on earth and you’d think with all these guys having a hard time backing in that someday we’d see some pics or a video. Methinks Dino likes to tell stories to try and make himself feel better.

Well I can tell you for a fact. That I have been to several places a stretch could never dock there. One of them it took the yard jockey 20 minutes to dock. It's that tight.

Granted. There are plenty of places that have plenty of room. But not everywhere.

You, Dino, Ridgeline….nobody has any pics of these places. Lol. Ridgeline gave an address to one place so I looked it up. 2 doors are narrow but one door was wider than the rest and has a wide street out in front. The mystery place that measures trucks before they come in can’t be named of course because it’s too secret. So until people start showing proof I’m not buying it. I know where I’ve taken trucks with 280” and a 52ft spread or a 53ft. Everyone has a video camera in their pocket now so it’s time to share all these places.

This guy would hate me. I have a truck belt buckle I like to wear, I only wear boots, drive a 35 year old, 275” wheelbase 2 stick dinosaur of a truck, and I wouldn’t mind living in a trailer at all. Actually me and my family just walked 17 acres we are about to buy and I told my wife I think we may just out a double wide out here.

13-14 years ago older guys where I was a company driver at used to tell me I would get sick of keeping my truck clean. Why do I waste my money keeping someone else’s truck clean, used to put grease under my door handle, someone even threw dirt in my wheels once. You know where those guys are still? Driving someone else’s truck still miserable with there life.

I'm sorry I don't take a picture of every place I load/unload. Do you? Don't ever question my honor or honesty. I've given respectful responses.

There's a picture floating around here of a sprouts dock. I suspect it could not handle a stretch.

I see a trend. The stretch crowd is in the I don’t care what you drive camp. Mean while the haters keep doin these drive bys, but they don’t care right. And the haters say there is all this crying but I haven’t seen it. Nor have I seen pics of this wonderful FLD with this great big cam and used drive tires cuz he don’t use it much.......but seems to run it every day.

Shot in the dark but some one is struggling in the truckin bidness. Wonders HTF a guy can make the kind a money it takes to doll one up. Says if I could do that I #### sure wouldn’t waste it on a truck but I can’t and I’m mad about it.

Course I’m prolly wrong wouldn’t be the first time
