I don't know anything about it. But I have a question from you. How come your prescription drugs are not causing problems in your Trucking career?

Because its not a narcotic or mood altering drug.
Basically it's testosterone replacement due to a young and dumb injury from way back.

There are no prohibited prescription drugs with regard to Truckers, NOT even narcotic pain killers. Now a carrier might have a tighter standard. There are many drivers that are taking drugs for blood pressure and some are even taking things like Metformin like I was. A driver can legally take a narcotic if they have a legal prescription AND the medical examiner says it's OK! Anybody that tells you a drug is prohibited is talking out both sides of their mouths. There is one exception to this. Any drug used to control seizures is not allowed. I have epilepsy and am currently taking 2 meds for seizure control. LINK

Mine is a muscle relaxer and nerve pain medication so I missed trucking :( They didn't say no, I myself felt nervous and scared after seeing some trucks in accidents. In fact I saw an accident last night in which a truck had rear-ended a little car

I hope all made it out with minimal permanent damage.
After the last 2 weeks of seeing drivers with their feet on the dash, watching youtube videos etc. Id be hard pressed to think that was a prescription issue. I used to get irritated by the "steering wheel holders" dig the veteran drivers always throw out at us rookies. I've seen why now. I know I am not going to be a "steering wheel holder" because I am a bit old school and take pride in what I do or I don't do it.

I was passing from there last night, I saw it live, the little car in front was ruined by the truck. The trunk was gone

As your career develops you are also going to see something else. A lot of veteran drivers are also "steering wheel holders". Please don't take my word for it, just keep a critical eye out. There are many drivers that don't respect their size and weight! My main point is it's not just the rookies that yank stupid!
