Dose anyone know if water level should drop when turning on truck after its been off for 10hrs or more hrs?
My trucks water level drops when turning on truck after a few minutes as it's getting warmer it levels out without me adding coolent is this normal I have a cummins isx15?

It’s probably normal. Thermostats are closed and coolant runs through the bypass back to waterpump. Once they open it drops, temporarily as it goes into radiator, then from heat expansion eventually comes back up. I can only guess. Not familiar with the newer engines, but I think they’re designed to run under higher pressure to keep temps down. Being a closed system under more pressure, would make sense. Same way with newer cars vs older ones. Hopefully someone with the exact set up will chime in.

In Reservoir, level gose from max full level to min level then after 10min it's back to max full level

Normal. Suction of water pump pulls it down. Heat expansion makes it come back up.
