    @Moronica
    Use the spaghetti theorem....
Throw lots of apps against the wall and see what sticks.
Apply to every fuel hauling company you can find.
    See what comes back.
You only need 1 or 2 yes responses.
I applied at numerous tank companies while in school, got 1 yes and many nos.
Been with them 10 months, and now get other offers weekly.
You can't win if you don't play, and you rarely jackpot on a single dice roll.
Gas hauling is in such incredible demand right now, and every company in my area has idle trucks because of it.
Butts in seats moves product. Idle trucks are expensive.
Slip seated trucks make money for the company.
All but 2 of our trucks run 24/7, those 2 being the reserve when one goes down.
We're trying to get 5 more trucks from other terminals to fill demand, and we're hiring straight out of school.
My last 3 checks were 1700 a week, which isn't the best in town, but I'm pretty pleased.
    I work 4a to 4p ish, 5 days a week.
I work weekends for the premium pay.
    3 to 5 loads a day.
    200 to 250 miles a day.
    Good luck bud.
    You'll get there.
    Keep after it.

I’d look at Williams tank lines, KAG, and whoever else is down there. I believe Superior tank lines is down there as well. If so they always pay well and have nice equipment, but are very strict and have cameras.

If you truly want the job, apply to all of them. It’s a driver’s market and companies are desperate for drivers.

Very true. You went right from CDL school to an LTL job for a few months and then to tankers with no tanker experience. That should be encouraging to the new people starting out.

Even companies that say they don't hire graduates are doing so.
They don't advertise it because they'd be inundated with applications from folks that have no business hauling gas cans in the first place.
Much has to do with insurance, obviously, but some have figured out how to work it with insurance to make it possible.
You can't win if you don't play.
    Apply.
    Only need 1 yes.
    Go for it.

I’ve heard good things. If I leave gas hauling that’s one of the companies I looked at for chemical. Them and K-Limited.
