    federally mandated on 2022 class 8 trucks, I'm a owner operator do a lot off road work agriculture and forestry work

    You are correct it is not an option. Standard for all on highway class 8 trucks and also considerd part of the ABS system and safety equipment.

    Afraid your on your own......

    Disabling safety equipment is a big nono and a huge liability in case of an accident.

    Anyone found a way to turn off the stability control on the 2023 model? That thing is scary as #### when it think I'm going too fast in the corner ‍♂️

    In the owner manual they said the dealer can do it, but the dealer told me that thay can't.

    Must be fun hauling wood with that on the forest roads.

    I drive a 2023 western star and I fail to see the safety in the stability control roll stabilizer. In mountain driving with switch backs, I had the drives lock up in a turn a couple times scared the crap out of me ! And drivers around me . Dealer won't shut it off , "it's a safety feature" also won't turn Jakes on whit Cruse control on . Dumb ### functions you can't control by dumb ##### who never drove truck more than around the block with a trailer. Is it possible to bypass the stability control and roll stabilizer?
