Tennessee Tech. center of memphis charges 1266.00 for a 7 week stint.

WIA realy doesn't take that long aslong you got all ya ducks in a row. I was going that route until i got approved Tenn. education lottery scholarship award.

Sounds Good...i'm in the area and Tenn Tech might just be the ticket i'm looking for...That's if i decide to pull the trigger on becoming a truck driver. Wonder what the difference is compared to RoadMaster in West Memphis AR?

I'd stay away from Greyhound . They get the lowest of lows for passengers . Several drivers have been attacked . A passenger in Canada was decapitated .

    Oh yes

    And
MANCHESTER, Tenn. -- A passenger on a Greyhound bus slashed the driver's throat with a blade, grabbed the wheel and crashed the vehicle yesterday, killing six of the 41 people aboard and prompting the company to temporarily shut down service across an already jittery nation.[/quote]

It doesnt help much that most greyhound drivers are very laid back and very nice people. Being nice doesnt help when people are trying to kill you!

I've made good friends with several greyhound drivers, mostly very nice professional people.

Maybe these stabbigns are why all the newer buses have a plastic door around the driver? The plastic door blocks all of behind the drivers head and the front of the bus past the standee line, and when its in the other direction, it blocks the drivers seat.. Hmmm.

FYI some of greyhounds partners are far better places to work. Indian Trails for example, you get home several nights a week, whereas greyhound drivers are mostly OTR and drive 10 hours and then sleep in a hotel. Indian Trails and Greyhound both offer paid CDL training too, and its not a cdl mill.
