Exactly. But with this “shortage” of drivers, they won’t charge it back because they’d quit, which as far as I’m concerned, go right ahead, you’re a burden anyway.

You're right, I'm betting not much will happen. But it got someone's attention for sure!

My last company would deal with issues like this. We sent product out on racks. Many of the racks had issues, missing fork pockets, bent, broken, etc.Instead of getting better racks, or fixing the bad ones, they came up with a "policy". No one is to send out product on bad racks. Then management patted themselves on the back., for solving the problem. Never followed up on whether their "policy" was being used.

Crete is a private company and doesn’t have shareholders to worry about

Anybody delivered at Brother in Bartlett TN right outside Memphis?

I got what says 0600 drop loaded on our end, but calling them the recording says closed weekends, opens tomorrow 2 hours after my appt. Want to drop today but might just park where I know I can this afternoon instead of backtracking when I find them closed. And then show up tomorrow hours before they open lol.

They open at 7am. The guard won’t let you on the property until he opens the gate.

Took the Cascadia to the dealer today. Engine does not sound good, although no check lights, no low fluids or anything. Bet they're gonna tell me it needs a completely new engine at 25,000 miles. Would make sense when you figure it needed a new clutch at 700 (not a typo) miles.

I know they are pushing everything at all kinds of factories through the quality control line as fast as possible these days, but I think this truck skipped it completely.

Breakdown over the phone: "I think you should just wait until you're at one of Abilene's shops"

West Memphis mechanic before he's even heard the engine, just my description and the year of the truck: "You know you're going to the dealer, right?"

    Yes. Yes I did know.

These new Cascadias are junk. Mine too sounds like it’s about to blowup.

Yeah I actually had a serious debate with myself about what if I just pretended I was a steering wheel holder who didn't notice the way new alarming sounds and vibrations were popping up.

But whatever. I've been working through a lot of weekends as a "paid daily Monday-Friday short haul driver" helping the company and padding my bank account with the extra days of pay and if they want to tell me I need to get into a junked out loaner, I've got family nearby I'll just stay with until this truck is out of the shop or they've got another 22 Cascadia since it's the only truck in the fleet with a drivers seat that doesn't mess my back up.

    Sustanon Thanks this.

To me, mine sounds like maybe 2 problems at once. Bad lifters clacking, and some kind of air or fluid intake clogged making a low whump-whump-whump that also causes the vibrations. Sometimes above 55 mph it sounds and feels bad enough that I start looking for a place to pull over.

We'll see. I'm not a mechanic so they'll probably come back saying it's something entirely different. But I like to think that I've slowly made progress at diagnosing trouble over the course of my career.
