In between loads, started tearing down that IH 7100 @jamespmack recommended I get...

 

Ok, just had some screws and plate put in his arm. Feeling better everyday. Cops haven't even tried.

 

Glad to hear he's doing better, as for the cops, well...

 

That's not the worst, that's still a 4000 cab. I was hating on the 8100.

Worse I ever worked on was a 94 4700 CSX tandem mechanics truck. 466 and 9 speed Spicer twin countershaft trans with 2 sets of ptos and hi rail. Had to do a clutch. Thats 21 years ago. Still have nightmares.

 

And to correct. Myself the 8100, or 5900 paystar was a 4000 cab to. But the 8100 had more engine setback, dont recall how far back the 7000 was.

They built anything back then. We sold a bunch of 4700 well drilling rigs that factory from IH had double frame 4x4. Rails were stacked, Not as inserts. C Channel on top of Channel.

Before 2004ish. KW, FL, W/S, and IH would build what you could afford. Real custom work.

 

So he broke both fibula in each leg. And multiple fractures in left arm. He is walking with air casts. Alot of glass in his back. Parts left at the scene and never cleaned up were from a 01-05 Malibu. Cops have nothing and this is info he came up with. So no one is gonna fix a cheap pile of sheet like that. Its wrecked hard, windshield interior trim was still in the ditch.

 

Went to wally world for the 1st time in ages to get a new SIM card. What a #### show. Packed full and only 3 registers open. Self check out had a longer line than the registers. Then the person in front of you takes 15 min to pay doing god knows what
