What if it Snows?

My issue right now is some place to put one. Once I get my shop built (hopefully within the next 10 years) I will definetally get a small one.

 

Same here, but mostly in generator applications.

Nothing got up to rated speed quicker than a 2 stroke...assuming block heaters were working as they should.

 

I want a garage mahal too.

Y'know how the off-ramp there splits into 3 lanes, and one curves to a right turn only, a straight one into the Petro, and a left turn only?

Well, a diesel pusher, towing a car, Florida plates, "Go around me I'm retired!" bumper sticker, abruptly turns in front of me from the right lane.

I catch up to him at the fuel island and confront him, which is something I don't usually do, but he scared the #### outta me with that last minute maneuver.

After about three "yeah, but...." replies from him, I gave it up.

I'm slamming nozzles around, and tryna scrub THROUGH my windows, when I hear a "Sir?"

I whip around. It's The Guy.

"You're right. That was dumb. I'm sorry."

I said, "Thank you".

After I finished fueling, I went over and apologized to him for being so loud and so curt, but he scared the hell outta me with that sudden lane encroachment.

He said thanks for pointing out his error, because he respects truckers and didn't want to be "That Guy", cutting people off.

I thanked him for that, told him he's living my dream, and I don't want to see him get hurt.

Then we shook hands, and I parked to use the can. What better place to get my head outta my ###.

I'm starting to question if I should even be driving today.......I wanna go home, but it's like my evil doppelganger has the wheel.

And all the vacation traffic ain't helping.

 

I never smoked, so I don't know, BUT.......

I've had TWO former heroin addicts tell me that "cigs were harder to quit than smack".

Here is my opinion on that I don't my opinion means nothing to anyone but me. I love old well maintained trucks but in my situation they don't work for me. So therefore I own a new Cascadia even though I'd love to be driving a nice older truck. So it is what it is Cascadia life for me

 

That happens for me every couple of days. Thankfully I'm home most nights.

I really had to have "one of those" discussions with myself last year when I renewed my license and medical. Couldn't find anything else I wanted to transition to so renewed the license.

Came down to yep renew it, but revisit the subject next medical renewal. And continue to browse alternatives since I'm still a little too young and not messed up enough for SSI.
