Noticed a coolant smell coming from the engine bay area the other day. Opened the hood and low and behold the coolant level had decreased a bit. Maybe 2 inches or so but still above the minimum. Noticed there was coolant pooled on top of the radiator. Anyways I have some pictures that show more detail. I'm assuming it's coming from that main hose at the top, because the fan ends up blowing it all over the place. Probably get a pressure pump to pressurize the system. Thought I'd run it by you guys. probably where the clamps are. It's hard to pinpoint
Coolant leak with pic's. DD15.

When that happened to mine it was a cracked neck on the radiator. So the plastic piece that is connected to the upper main hose is where it was cracked. I ran mine for awhile until i could get to a shop.

That’s probably it. Might get lucky and it’s the tank, or hoses. I see some up there, on top of the shroud. Hard to say, fan blows it everywhere.

Mine was a cracked neck at top of radiator as well. Ran it til I got to shop near my home adding fluid as needed. $2600 and two weeks to replace radiator. Got truck back one week ago.

I wonder if it could be plastic welded. They have a kit at Harbor freight. Use zip ties as welding rods. I’ve seen thus on UTube for automotive repairs. Wonder if it would work on the neck? Or some JB Weld epoxy.
