I had a '72 Chevy C-20 I'd bought when I was in high school. Sold it a few years ago to a friend for an absolutely idiotic low amount because I didn't have the time to mess with getting it back into shape.

He did some things to it and decided he wanted to sell it. Gave me first dibs, but I passed because I knew what he was wanting and I wasn't willing to pay it. Regret not biting the bullet and buying it back anyway. ####### couldn't fix a fueling issue and wouldn't listen to me when I told him what the fix was.

BXS is the only one that is a 70 pin, and a couple of the pins have to be moved. Thing is, why in the hell anyone even considers making them a 6NZ is beyond me. An Acert is a fantastic engine, and with a good tune they are incredible.

I’m committed to this from a buddy of mine in Arizona. I need full size pickup truck but don’t really want a new one. Hard to find not all rusted to ####. Problem is it is not really ready for the trip home so I’ll have to haul it. I already bought it just haven’t went for it yet. The bronco just cought my eye as I was passing by then to see it had a stick shift, it almost sucked me in? 41445F63-DDD1-4864-BC48-D8D1E5B18410.jpeg D599DDC2-14EF-4757-AB9A-8423FB66D20A.jpeg DF6C60DD-5ED9-4159-AD7B-47E195D32DAE.jpeg And guess what? You can’t buy 16.5 tires any more apparently?

From what I hear the 07 and before are the engine to have. After that, the burner head is a problem I guess. Like you said though, from everything I've read ....the 07 and before are good to go with a good tune.

Lol, I'm sitting south of Lansing. Waiting to load in the morning. I think I'm in the middle of a track suit and sandles convention.....lol.

Got into it with a crane guy in Lansing at Ryerson once. Dang near threw my load bar at him. Needless to say he had someone else unload the “retarded tarped load driver.”

Hardly ever will I pull the pintle hitch trailer. So I actually used the electrical for my 5th wheel wrecker, and I have short lines made up to run from my glad hands back to the trailer. I’ll probably make the glad hands permanent on the rear at some point since they are bulkhead fitting style…..
