not sure there was another guy that lived in michigan and he was told they weren't hiring up there right now but the best thing to do would be to give them a call and ask them.

3200 a week is nothing.. there are guys there complaining if they don't get 4000/week. Don't get me wrong i understand there are gonna be slow weeks, but i mean average and that's just my goal, I'm not a "super trucker" that expects to sleep 4 hours a week lol and I understand that i'm the new guy, but $600/week should be achievable. Considering if i get over 3000 miles a week, i'll be making $.33/mile, it shouldn't be too hard to do. I'm realistic, but I'm also not going to stay away from my family in a truck for weeks at a time for less than $600/week, just my thoughts.

I'm 60 miles from the Ohio line and they told me " not hiring in your area at this time, but we will keep your app. on file."

You have a better chance since you live south of I94. Alot of otr companies only hire in Mi. if you are south of I94. Good luck and let us know what they say if you should call.

i believe right now averaging 3000 miles would be more likely if you are lucky january and february are usually our slowest months of the year. the new drivers do tend to stay moving more than experianced drivers so 3000 is more likely till probally around march.

I know that on Nov 16 DeeAnn told me the average was 2500 a wk. I can live on that easy with the little woman working also. Heck, we can almost live off of that by itself. I would hope to get anywhere between 3000 to 3500 a wk. I would be good with that.

Yeah i know freight is down from november til around march so i expect it to be slow around then and i can plan for that.. i guess i was talking during the busy months :biggrin_25522: and i'm just talking average.. i don't expect 3000/week every single week.. the weeks i come home it'll be less and bad weeks, etc.. i expect that

Out of 800 driver's let's just say 45% is at the 3,000....we all are av 2,000 to 2,500..
like spanky said we are in our slow time...and will be slow till around the second week in january...then it pick's back up a lil bit ..Now if u wanna be in the 45% that hit's 3,000.stay out for 4 week's at a time..then u should be doing good..Good luck..And alway's get it in writing...
