Haven't talked to my accountant yet, but I need to. So when we buy new equipment, we're able to deduct depreciation on our taxes. What happens when it doesn't depreciate, and the value stays the same or increases, say like real estate? My guess is we'll get hit for capital gains tax if it increases, or if the depreciation isn't as much as we previously deducted, we'll have to pay back taxes for deducting too much depreciation.

I believe it’s called recaptured depreciation. It sucks but it beats selling it for pennies on the dollar. I’m going to wait to sell mine next year so it isn’t on this year’s taxes. There’s no way in hell I will make more in a non-trucking job.

All the haters and laughers probably don't have a pot to pee in anyway. Kind of funny how you got the last laugh. Hard to believe what people are paying but, wow!!

Nobody would pay that but I'd be awful #### tempted if they would. I dunno wth I would do though. I could pay the house off but I couldn't walk away from the industry. I'd have to get a real job taking orders from a boss man again!
