Waiting on New Trucks thread.

Last week a drop customer of ours dumped one our brand new reefers off a shag tractor ( 1000 miles on it )
With 42k in on it .
Utility is saying 30 grand just in parts to fix it and they are considering it .....midlands carrier in omaha also rationing out new units and APU's .
Our new 680 and w990s ordered last year are trickling in minus Apu's.
Our 680s going to auction are bringing low 70s to mid 70s with low 500s to low 600s on the clock .
Wore out 11 year old reefers ( utility and great Danes) bringing low 20s .
Crazy times !

well so much for western star.
Now just 47x as the only road truck.

 

When did they quit the 4900 ws? That 47 thing is just a glorified cascadia.

 

4900 is done this year as well.
The 49x is nothing more than a 122ssd (Coronado) with western star hood and badge. Plastic fantastic ####ing junk.
At least the 5700 was built good and had good insulation and wood cabinets and doesn’t rattle like the POS crapacadia.
