A minor breakdown; which prevents you getting south to get some of your favorite old fashioned foods, and you will be done.. Just saying...LOL

Consider your heath, your wife health, both your ages. Your home ownership position. Then the sale prices. Might be time to grab; idle, then restart with a variance. I sold a used forklift operation in a similar price peak and have never regretted it. My advise is of : No cost, no value. No warranty.

You will never regret this decision. Sitting , thinking, others maybe, but not this. Near future trucking gonna be tough. When stars align, stop staring.

Just had breakfast at a local Place. I’ve never seen so many old folks in my life, concentrated in one place, outside of a Nursing home. My wife using her cane. It all gave me an eerie feeling. They drained her knee, shot her with cortisone. One month we go back, for the gel cartilage shot, if needed. Appointment coincides with my Cardiologist appointment. OTR really makes things difficult. Glad I can set my own schedule. I doubt a Company Driver job would be very cooperative. No wonder Drivers health and teeth get neglected. The whole DOT physical requirements are almost a disincentive to seeing a Doctor, or mentioning any problems. I can say for myself, I’ve avoided Drs. in the past for this reason. Not really Logical, but true. Hate to open a can of worms, and get disqualified from Driving.

I should sell Everything. Buy an old 40 ft yacht that doesn’t run for cheap.Floating condo. Live on it here in the summer, and a cheap trailer down south, in a camp ground. Older vehicles on both ends. No insurance on anything. Keep Trucking till I can’t. Then sell it too.
