There's a Cannuck here asking about LANDSTAR.

He's an O/O and from what he tells me he's making, the Burger King is looking pretty good.

That sounds appealing. I used to work 5 days 60 hrs. Always had weekends off. Had no desire to go OTR. Once I did after 10 yrs of Local Work, it seemed like so much easier work. Remembering how fast the days went, Local seems attractive now. I suspect I’d be like most Walmart Drivers, at first they love it. After a few months, they wish they’d never sold their Trucks. I’ve known 2 Drivers that did that. After just a short time, they hated it. They say, keep your Truck, till your sure about a new Company job.

Enlighten the man. It is written (somewhere) that the more fortunate (hard workers) should "share" with the unfortunate (all HARD work) available.
Lots of them have not gotten their fair share. (of hard work)

Did that up in Banff on bus tour once. .Big moose was munching on the flowering shrub. Antlers were tapping the screen.
Close encounters with the not before seen...

I think I need new batteries. Seems like I just bought them. Less than 3 yrs ago, maybe? It’s showing almost 15 volts running. Draining into the red while cranking. Blew out the 1000w inverter last trip. Had the fridge plugged into it. Less than half the draw it can handle. Last of the cheap inverters. That makes 3 inverters smoked. 1-1500 that I bought at the Pilot, now the 1000w from the Pilot. Both were display old style closeout. Paid very little for them. The other was a 1500w off eBay, another so called good deal. Didn’t last long. The new 2000 bought recently off the shelf at Pilot? or Loves? is doing a great job, so far. It’s really all I need. I’m going to disconnect it, see if volt meter corrects itself. Maybe a shorted battery smoked it out? Fuses on battery have never blown. Apparently there’s a fuse inside that blows on them. New one needs to be soldered in. Way more than I want to deal with. Hope I can find Batteries if needed.
