No doubt. But it seems like a fair amount of new industry out there in central WA as well.

Load of carrots from WA last month:

The little bit of Yakima area I've been through recently haven't seen much new. They seem to be filling the voids from when the big retailers folded out a couple of years back back. Have not noticed any non ag places shipping truck loads.......

My opinion there are several types of growth. About the only type I consider good is when somebody goes in that makes a product that gets shipped out. Growth via a bunch of retail or services places is not necessarily good growth in my opinion. Those folks are just there leaching of the loose money in the community not bringing money to the community like business that sell a manufactured product outside of the community.

"New" being a relative term. A lot of Newish industry in paper. Newish huge paper recycling plant, newish paper food packaging plant. I'm talking they ain't more than 10 years old and are modern and "new". A few others.

Yep, same here. Have heard it said by voices (out of reach and facing away). He is so tight, they will have to screw him into the ground, won't pay for an digging. or he still squeaks if he walks fast....

I used to glance back and forth, that is before I was issued my current drone model truck.

Hell, you still have to watch the tach in these new trucks, or they’ll have you trying to climb hills way down in the 3-digits. How stupid is that?

Maybe I’m just an out-of-touch dinosaur who can barely figure out how to use his iPhone, but it sure seems to me to be a hell of a lot easier on the truck to cruise at 1300 vs trying to lug along at 1000.
