A couple things I can tell you; refrigerated carrier and also some dry vans. Been around for years, does regional/48. Has yard in Phoenix. Actually, never hear much about them, good or bad. Were running Petes but not sure what now.

Use the search feature on this site, there is a TON of info on May.
Most of it seems positive........ -
was looking for something more up to date than what i had found on the searce aspect of things thanks

i like em' decent miles/not great, governed tractors/gutless motors.

Well if you want to drive a truck that gets passed by Swift and has no power. Be told every little thing to do. And I do me EVERY little thing. Be told by some one in an office who has never driven when the weather is un-safe and you have to park it. Then by all means this is the company for you. Oh and one more thing. You will be switching with O/O so that the load can make del on time cause there slow trucks can't do it.

Doesn't Greatwide own May and didn't they just file bankruptcy?
-
Do NOT think so ........

Greatwide bought May in 2003 http://www.greatwide.com/index2.cfm/section/news/level2/37/id/37
Greatwide owns Dallas-Mavis too.
As I recall they did file for bankruptcy protection a while ago too. They may have emerged from the BK by now.
I have a friend who has been with May for a couple of years. Current take home is about 500-600 per wk. He likes the people he works for/with but is actively seeking a job with better $$$$. -
