Yeah I never understood drivers brushing teeth, washing dishes and taking a sponge bath at bathroom sinks. Just the thought of it makes me throw up in my mouth a little bit. Even when I use to take showers at truck stops, I would never let any of my clothes touch the floor. Everything was carefully taken off and hung on a hook. I'm not going to miss that one bit. I know those people there work hard but they would frequently miss things and I finally stopped using their showers altogether and got motel rooms. Not always perfect, but a lot better than the truck stops.

I remember when the pandemic first started and nobody could get TP. Saw a flat bedder like the guy in your picture with a single role of TP strapped down. Cracked me up.

That's to be expected with the higher rates holding for such a long period. But as we all know, rates will eventually drop and all of those drivers with new authority will be fighting each other for the leftover scraps on the spot market. Who knows, rates could stay high for a couple more years, so if you jumped into the game over the last 1.5 years, you had better be putting a ton of money in the bank for when things drop back to normal. I got my authority in 2018 after rates had been pretty good for several months, They dropped almost immediately and didn't rise again until mid-2020.

Forgot to share. On Nov 3rd my o/o truck was backed into while unloading at Costco in Denver.
I wonder what kind of Visa does this guy have and how the hell did he get it?
Looks like that company got a new insurance on the date of accident and went active again lol, because that day it was showing inactive all day long received_594488158532252.png received_481694849682074_1.jpeg Screenshot_20211116-234504.png
