Yes, brokers simply take loads over there from shippers, post them on load boards for truckers and just keep the difference.
I can sell you the load boards names and broker bootcamp training only for $2000PPDCT, LoneRanger, Crude Truckin' and 4 others Thank this. -
I'm interested in a online broker course, however a interested/invested party want to to take the course as well, are there company rates or just single/insividule rates? -
A friendly piece of advice, get to know the business first.
Here’s a few random quiz questions that any broker should know:
-Why do Christmas tree loads pay more than a regular load?
-What’s the reason no one wants to take a load to Lubbock?
-You have a truck doing a load from Riverside, CA to Reno, NV. You call the truck to let him know that a second stop has been added that picks in Long Beach. Why does the trucker get pissed off and cancel the load?
-You get a great rate on a 46,000 lb load of potatoes.... how come no one wants it?
-It’s July and you score a Dreyers load out of Bakersfield with a mid-afternoon appointment.... what could possibly go wrong?
These and other things will not be taught to you on an online broker course. If you want to broker freight I suggest signing on with a brokerage house first so you can learn the business.just_sayin, 86scotty, BennysPennys and 5 others Thank this. -
