That’s what I’ve always done if/when they didn’t use blocks. I used to haul a lot of rebar with a previous outfit and I remember it always took me twice as long to secure as the other guys because I was the only one who would take the time and effort to climb onto my trailer and weave my straps. Everyone else would just throw straps over the top and hammer down.

To be fair, with rebar having that rough texture, you have to stop pretty dang hard to get it to slide... but that was a chance I never wanted to take.

 

That's what you get when the award goes to the lowest bidder. Any luck DOT will spot it and he'll get to pay for the privilege of a state education on securement.

 

OH My......Thats probably one of the worst ive seen on here. I know the weight of those trucks vary, ive carried one looks similar but wider and was 55k. Id say that weighs at least 35klbs

 

I bet the guy had a headache rack full of chains ?

At least 35,000. I know the hook lift Hemmts are about 40,000 plus or so.

 

even better had em stored like the clown he was in front of the step, look at the picture. Driving like a typical clown also.
