Swapping out the stock speakers. Already swapped the front door speakers.
Any chance any one knows what size the speakers are in the sleeper?

Try and use cruthcfield to see if they can match it, but I’m guessing 6x9 since that’s what I have but mine is a 2013
24kHotshot Thanks this. -
I don't think Freightliner changed it since 2012. Ill order 6x9 and hope for the best, thanks. -

Do you just measure them side to side and top to bottom? -

I am shopping around for a double din android head unit to install later on. Will throw in an amp if it needs it. -
so make sure you match everything up and an amplifier is going to be needed most likely.
I would personally go with the same brand and model speaker as your doors to match the resistance and then look at a head unit that operates in that range so as to not run an amp if you don’t like it that loud. If you do need an amplifier I would make sure everything is OFC copper and not CCA. As well as double shielded RCA’s and speaker wires to reduce engine noise. Run the ground and power to the batteries directly and bypass the stock plug pins for those.gentleroger and 24kHotshot Thank this. -
The door speakers were Panasonic trash. My phone speaker sounds better. Just swapped em out for cheap better replacements.
If I have a problem after I install the rears I'll just swap back the old ones till I have an amp and head unit.
