Thats what I have heard. I really was thinking it could be great for a decent meal on those busy nights and not alot of time. I do alot of cooking myself. But a microwave for me is reduced to warming up coffee anymore. I could live without one.

I did buy one of those hot logic cooker lunch box for the truck. Made a few meals in it. Nothing fancy but a hot chicken parm and a hot bowl of mixed vegetables compaired to cold sandwiches from a lunch box for the last 10 years is one heck of a improvement.

I do to. Just needed to do something different when that all I've ate for so long. My trucking operation dont allow for much fine dinning like you guys. Its more of dash board dinning.

Yeah, I've been on that site several times. Which led to the conclusion of not wanting one. Alot more bad than good from what I can tell. It would be different if there was a large price break on the cummins powered trucks to offset it, but there isn't. Crap thing is, it eliminated like 50% of the trucks that I would have otherwise looked at.

Right on. I would be interested to hear the numbers when you get them. Sounds like you did good though.

There was another down it whitebird that was cheaper on there.

Edit: there has been an a model stuck at kw for awhile now. Shop has been complaining about it. They said can't find parts anywhere right now. Been sitting in pieces for some time I guess.

IMO, if a fellow needs to take an A to the KW dealer a fellow probably shouldn't own one. One of the locals drivers laid a '73 dump over and totaled it. We were on it like crows on roadkill.

I really liked it, but around here you are only gonna go so far. Then the opportunity to work with dad came up. I never worked for him. He would have never allowed that. Trucking wasn't my life desire back then. The best job I had was the wrecker service. Most interesting day to day and still wrenched. But I couldn't imagine had I not taken the chance and ran with Dad for only 4 years before he passed. Him being a 0/0 50 years, he was admit that if your gonna work hard. It should be for you, not someone else. I still due repair work. But it's my choice, my schedule. If they want cheap and scab work. They can leave. Don't need it, don't want it.
