It's my belief there might have been a typo, I am unable to find pessiristic in any dictionary. The closest I can find is pessimistic or parasitic, but I don't think you're a government employee.

Pistolettes are like a thin crust donut, filled with shrimp or ??? Deep fried. They’re good, only recently discovered them myself in Beaux Bridge. Pronounced just like it’s spelled.
