Exactly what I was thinking. I'm not big on the whole "custom" wheel thing.

I remember when regulations for lighting were enforced. I guess that isn't the case anymore. Lots of trucks disregard the ICC pattern, and you see all kinds of colors going down the road on trucks.

I've always thought some of those rules were dumb anyways, I wish they would just take them off the books.

It's a PDI product. They got hit as well for selling delete tunes. This tuner is legal everywhere and even comes with a CARB compliant sticker.

Me to. Ohio was one place not to have colored lights. My town rinky dink cops wrote tickets for the neon, and off road light that were not covered. Plus bumper height. Tactics fishing for dui.

I can't stand anything on the windshield. We have a phone holder that goes in the CD player, and the ELD is a hard mount from behind the dash, that's it. It's no wonder so many can't keep their trucks in their lane when they can't see the road for all that crap.

They claim 10-15% increase in hp and torque. Even 15% is not gonna turn our Little Sara into a power house.

I flashed the power tune before the short 30 mi drive home. Not much of a difference getting moving, but once we got up to 8th gear she did have better throttle response and felt like acceleration was easier. Of course, that doesn't mean much without putting her on a dyno.

That's only part of the reason we got it though. The ability to monitor all the sensors plus read and clear codes will be nice.

Running to California next week then turning around and heading to NC, so we'll see how it does going across the passes.

I'm thinking about getting one for my 15.8 3406e but haven't had the nerve to call them up and pick their brain about it. I'm interested in the potential fuel savings, it'll be nice to hear your findings.

For a while Michigan was nailing anybody with any kind of blue light, wether interior or exterior. Something about it could cause people to think you were a cop if you had a blue light anywhere on your vehicle. Stupid, but that's par for MI.
