Acetone is great for tar....your gonna need acid to eat it off.

I'd try about this much in a quirt bottle and fill it up with water. Let it set for about fifteen minutes then power wash it. Probably gonna half to do it a few times ....maybe mix it a little stronger.

Sounds like you might be stacking them wagons for the new buyer in a few months..?

Was a struggle with my own authority from the get go & try'n to save up to move on to bigger & better things running a small outfit like that.. I barely pulled it off, & was probably in much less debt with no other hands in my cookie jar..

2013 I was ~$55k all in with a brand new dodge dually, 40' gooseneck, & tiedown gear.. Just a new 3/4 ton is probably $65k + today..

    Wish him well..

30% is on the high side. The carrier I'm at now takes 24% with a decent fuel card. Jones Motor was 26%.
I guess it comes down to 30% of what. Hopefully for him that broker has some premium freight rates.

I have no clue, that’s why I thought I would ask. I was leased many many years ago for a while, but surely a lot has changed in 25 years….?

Yea it better be premium freight for sure. If it ends up being freight piggybacked off another broker it will suck.

The young man told me that the broker told him he should gross around $5000. - $6000. Per truck per week. Thing is, he has no cdl so he can only haul light loads. I’d say 10,000 pounds will max him out truthfully….

I have no idea what kind of rates a hotshot can command, or what insurance or tags cost. 30% seems high.
