anyone have any info on TransAm? I'm new and trying to not make a big mistake to start with. while the economy is terrible everywhere, i'm certain it's become a 'safe-haven' for money mongrels promising big bucks for the nieve like myself, and i'd be a fool to think i could start at the top but sure don't want to hafta start out digging. any info would be appreciated

They will make a hard push to lease a truck. DON'T. You will almost certainly lose your ###. They may even try to force you to lease like they did to me. If they do, leave.
IF you are lucky enough to get a company truck you will wait alot. Trans-Am does a ton of meat loads and these places don't seem to be in a huge hurry to load you. You will also, as a company driver, have runs taken away from you for a lease driver so that driver can make that truck payment. TA is always making sure lease guys make those payments. They seemingly stop caring about the driver once the payments are covered though.pinballwizard Thanks this. -
From what I've heard they are on the top of drivers #### list. With all I've read and heard along with all automatic trucks. No thank you.
