Exhaust leak turned out to be a loosened clamp near the turbo. Got it tightened and they ran a regen to make sure it stayed tight. Glad it wasn't anything major.

Welp, that's it for me for the next two-and-a-half weeks. Parked the truck today, won't be back until Jan 3rd. Been out for a month and a half without hometime, so taking hometime + vacation.

After dropping my loaded trailer in Reno yesterday afternoon, I was mentally and physically spent for the 10.5 hours it took me to go 360 miles. So I went to the truckstop and started a reset. Got a load assignment to pick up this morning a mile from the truckstop dropping in Groveport Ohio. Here’s where my distaste for load planning and DM’s comes into play. My available hours won’t get me to the drop until Tuesday morning, a reset will get me there Monday morning. So after a few phone calls back and forth, I was instructed to pick up the load. No problem, now listen, I don’t need anyone telling me what’s right, wrong, consequences or that the world will end by what I did. I pc’d the mile to the pick up, got loaded, and pc’d back to the truck stop. All told, 1:15 minutes of my reset was spent doing this. Now, with me having hometime scheduled for Next Wednesday, Christmas next weekend, Abilene’s track record the last 7 months with hometime, it is what it is. I will get a Boars Head load out of Groveport going to Florida for a Wednesday delivery, be home as scheduled, enjoy Christmas and take another week of vacation and come back out on the 3rd of January. My next adventure? Dealing with Wyoming tomorrow and Saturday. Life is good.

Gotta love this best buy in Findlay, OH. 0600 appt and didn't start on me til 0930 and still not done. Last time here I was out at 1000 here. Got the Rue 21 Baton Rouge load next so at least I can drop and hook tomorrow morning and still get there by 0800 to drop Monday.

I was there yesterday morning, was out by 0830.Last time I think it was about 4 hrs.

The wind was absolutely brutal.Picked up down in Dayton, and dropped that on the yard, now I'm on a BH from the yard to New Castle, dropping in the morning, than looks like a reset.

As near as I am able to determine, that's not an actual appointment time. That's just when their receiving hours start. After that I think they use a dartboard to determine who gets unloaded and in which order.

Im thinking it depends on how much and what you have being last time I was there 4 hours with less than half a trailer and this time 7 hrs with a full trailer.

    Finfn1372 Thanks this.
